Welcome! 

I am excited to get this year started! This is my sixth year teaching. I am an East Carolina graduate, Let’s Go Pirates!! I grew up in Morehead City and absolutely love the beach! I moved to Raleigh after I graduated college in 2011. My husband Scott and I are pet parents to a dog named Rilo and a cat named Kota.

I love to have a fun interactive classroom. I am not afraid to be a little silly, and I understand that sometimes we just need to get the wiggles out! In my class I will be using flexible seating. Each child will have a "home base", but will be allowed to sit around the room in a location they feel the most comfortable in. I hope this year will be incredible for you and your second grader!
